No Train

Since my new job starts 1pm, I've had a pretty easy time being on time and not taking the train. It's only one block further then my old job and I have an extra hour to get ready.

So what's my excuse today?

I felt like sleeping...till 11:20 am.

I know, all you morning people are disgusted by us night owls who can't get up before 9am.
I could get up at 9am. I just don't want too. I like sleeping when the rest of the world has been at work for 2-3 hours. It gives me sick satisfaction laying in bed and hearing the feet on the pavement outside my window.

So, today I was running late. I had to give up on the idea of wearing heels, as I knew I'd make no time in those, at all. I had to wear stupid purple flipflops with a black skirt. All because I can't take the train.

I hope you're happy.

Oh well, atleast the world got to see me working my gams!

Oh....hi.

Look, I know what you're going to say..."where were you, we've been worried sick about you....you didn't call, you didn't write."

Look...I'm a busy girl. That doesn't mean I don't care.

Aww...don't be like that...look...I'm sorry. How about I write an entry right now? Will that cheer you up.

Ok, here goes.

So, I stuck to my no slurpee thing and then on the 5th of May, I went crazy and had two large slurpees about 6 hours apart. I won't even apologize for that, cause it was worth it.

But what did I pick as my new goal for the month of May.

It actually wasn't that exciting. I decided to not take the train to work. Ok, so I live all of 9 blocks from work. But I'm always running late or feeling lazy or running late because I was lazy. So I would end up hoping on the train to be ontime.

I've decided for my new job, that I shouldn't start that habit. It's a bad one, and made me lot more of a flake then I am. So, my goal for May is to not take the train to or from work. Not only will this make me actually leave ontime, and organize my time better, it'll also be good for my calves haha.

Not that exciting of a goal, so not much to write about it. But I thought I'd let you know.

Now, June, I have already decided about. It's going to be a challenge. I'm going to make it my June Goal to go to Curves three times a week like I signed up to do. This might not be a big deal to you gym buffs. But I've averaged going about once a week since I signed up.

Now granted....I had to get a new job, deal with my apartment stuff, and sleep in on the weekends. But those are all just excuses. I could go three times a week...and don't. I need to change that if I actually want to make my membership worth a damn.

So, that one will be interesting to write about, cause not only will I be documenting if I've met my goal, or even exceeded it, but also any changes in health or weight I may notice.

So join me for a sweaty month of June!
